| it is their weak point isnt it....head gasket failure.
However, excellent idea a boxer engine in a caterham...

| i know thay are a fast engine and especially in a caterham or such like but i bet a boxer engine in a caterham would go like stink aswell.
its just the reliability - i have heard of soooo many headgasket probs that return straight away after the gasket is replaced |

that engine does have its probs, but on the other hand have you seen them caterhams go and they do sound good at full chat?! Bet you cant keep up in any 33 ...  |

| well we all knew that anyway but its nice to know other people know how good the boxer engine is however also in the top 10 is the rover k series - are they mad? they obviously havent talked to mechanics - they overheat after 50000 miles and then they are knackered because there are no cylinder walls just liners | |
