| an 8v boxer engine weighs 105Kg......a 16v boxer weighs 125Kg......took me ages to find this out!.......my engine is in the back of a beach buggy, I was going to go the 16v route, but the extra 20Kg put me right off, as my buggy is already way too tail happy. |

P.S did you get shot of those wings i won on ebay for 1p? Could still use the nsf (unpainted) one if you still have it- will obviously pay for carriage. |

From memory I reckon the gearbox will be about 30 kg.
Engine with 8V heads has got to be at least 60kg.
I can remember only just being able to lift one on its tod for a few seconds . I know what a wimp . I definately hadnt had my 3 shredded wheats that day
