| Glad to help. Those studs look like they might be a bit tight, can I respectfully suggest a suitable bit in an impact driver (manual hammering type), WD40 or similar, and lots of patient gentle tapping with a smallish hammer.
I succeeded in removing the incredibly rusted-in bolts holding the Dodge wheel cylinders by this method, without twisting off any of the heads. |

Gritsop, these wheels aren't the ones with plastic studs so I won't have to buy any more (the plastic studs are over £3 each!!). They are metal studs, so all I have to do is remove them, refurbish the wheels and screw them back in! I think they'll look great |

| Hi,
I have seen such rims on many 33s and 155s in Greece. Looks like the plastic tubs are a headache for detailing people like many of us here. As a very nice alternative allen bolts in silver color are used instead of the plastic tabs. The result is very nice and the difference is very small (if any) to your eyes. In total 96 bolts are needed and I am sure that harware stores specialising in industrial products can provide a wide range of screws to choose from. |

That Jap site looks promising for some centre cap stickers Not sure what you mean by no holes John - there is a hole for the centre cap, I tried fitting a centre cap from the 155v6 wheel but the lugs wouldn't locate properly. I assume the newer style colour ones won't fit either as they'll be similar - I'll rob one off my rustbucket, I mean 145 and see if it fits.... |

The alfa speedline 14" 'split rims' i have, have the standard hole in the centre, and i just fitted alfa badge centre caps like the ones on 156 alloys. See my avatar - available on special offer from Mangoletsi £16 for 4 inc vat- see their website special offers. As your wheels dont seem to have holes, you may be able to cut the lugs off the centre caps and stick them on?? John |

| Hmmm... although not the same wheels, my white 33 had those metal studs around the outside.
You could pay proper money for some copycat wheels (made by a company called REPLICAS) which work out quite a lot cheaper than originals, and when offset against the price of restoration, don't work out badly : http://www.performancealloys.com Have a look... they've got LOADS on there. Also, don't be put off by the stud arrangement on them... clicking an alloy usually shows they are available in a number of stud, numbers/arrangements. A lot of them look like alfa - just put the centre caps in, JD. Bob |

| wassup dogs?? oops sorry not on Max power website now am I?
I was gonna fit these Alfa 155v6 wheels to my 33 but they can't be refurbed easily due to the plastic studs and I was never quite sure about the design (the middle part sticks out too much in my opinion). 
I then found these ones which look almost the same, but have metal torx bolts (which can be removed easily for refurbishing work) and are a deeper dish design. I imported them from Holland and they seem to be made by Alessio as 2 have an Alessio sticker on the centre cap. What do you think?? 
They are rather like the wheels on an SZ only they are 15" - anyone seen any like this before? I was hoping to get some new stickers for the centre caps the same as the damaged ones that I have - any ideas where I could try?? |
