God-willing and with a following wind its hopefully ready to go to the rolling-road this Saturday . Still waiting confirmation that he can fit me in else it will be a take it down and leave it with him trip. I was really hoping to hear it it running the first time but if I cant I cant . As long as the damn thing dont blow up that'll be a start.
Its certainly been a long time in the evolution . 12 months since I started it all. Neighbours wont half be pleased (at least until they hear it anyway ).

16V manifold successfully modified to fit with inboard discs . Took a bit of time and some head scratching but not too bad in the finish. Turned out that outer / rear cylinder pipes clear the inboard discs and just the inners/ front need rerouting.
Cut the inner legs off about 75mm before they go into 2. Welded a straight section on, to run pipe up inside of disc, other pipe runs up disc outside. Elongated holes in manifold flange to give extra turn and cut pipe off about 180mm from head. Cut a bend out of the pipe that had been removed to give smooth rad bend between pipe from head and run down into manifold.
Thanks again Admin.

I would just like to tell everybody what a very nice man Keith our administrator and founder of this forum is. He has really got me out of a whole with his help by providing me with a 16V manifold.
Much appreciated

Thanks for that offer Admin.
The bits I want to keep are the 90 degree bends off the heads and the 4 into 2 collectors. Is the hole anywhere near those and do you think that the metal thats left in those areas is good enough to weld to?
Please advise on how much you are after (incl P&P) and if you would be happy with a cheque and I'll let you know ASAP

Hi
I have a standard manofold with a hole in it just sitting outside. Should be useable as a basis to be modified (I am just slightly unsure if it is the full length).
All the best

HELP
Anyone know what the outside diameter is on the pipes off the heads on a std manifold. If you know diameters for secondary and outlet that would be a bonus
My big bore manifold off a Sud wont fit so if anyone is interested let me know. It would fit a normal 33 just not my rallycar!
I need a std manifold to modify. Anyone got one to sell? Please.
Alternatively where can I buy a new one from at reasonable price?
