Hi
They are very common as used on loads of Fords (amoung others). XR3i for example, and you can at a pinch use the rotor arm from an XR3i as well (just that the rev limited will come in 500rpm lower).
All the best

I tried to get one and was told that they are no longer available for our car. So i found out what other cars use the same dizzy cap and low and behold they can get one,,, go figure????
Also, i started my car today in the wet and she ran sweet, she used to be very rough in the wet, i tried Ht leads spark plugs, in the past and was about to try coil,,, wahooo!!!
Car is comming along nice |

Hi
Think the copper ones iin theory would be better (longer lasting), but dizzy caps are cheap enough that I wouldn't be too bothered about that.
All the best

Well. I took mine off today to check and clean and guess what I found, or should I say, didn’t find.
The carbon electrode in the middle had corroded away and so was arching across the gap to the rotor arm.
I put one of my old ones on until I but a new one and now revs higher easier, but is still a bit woolly / fluffy |
