I checked the voltage when ignition/lights were on, lo and behold, it was a faulty LED, i have replaced it with an ordinary bulb for the time being. I didn't even think to swap the LED as i thought it couldn't be faulty so soon.
Thanks Paul.H |

Al, this is a stab in the dark but try switching your interior light to the off position. Why? Because Sometimes when my lights are on and the interior light is in 'auto' mode there is a faint ticking noise........switch interior light off and the ticking stops. This may be your problem it's just coming out in another component instead! Gotta love the italian electrics |

|
O.K guys, you ready for this.
My clock light flashes as soon as i turn the lights on.
I have eliminated a few things by disconnecting the following;
ECU
Alarm
all the relays by the battery
Flashing starts when i turn the ignition, as the clock light comes on then.
If you take the 4th fuse down on the right, it stops flashing as the clock light goes out.
if you remove the 2nd relay down on the left, in the fuse box, the light goes out. I also took out each fuse 1 by one and each relay in the fuse box and it still flashed.
The only other relays left are the ones for the windows and central locking, i think.
Any suggestions, it makes no sense.
Thanks in advance Alan |
