No probs guys, i'll keep you informed when next cars arrive. Next 1 to strip looks to be a P4, then next looks to be a red 16v sportwagon.

The car now has a home to go to, it will get it's MOT next week and looks like it will be going to a new owner in the Bolton area. Although i do prob have another p4 coming in to be stripped very soon, i'll give you 1st grab on its interior if you wish.

Alex, sounds good. Give me a shout once you get it. Thanks - Nnamdi

Well it had it's MOT today, it failed on all 4 rear trailing arms, (easy & not expensive but hard to find), PAS rack leaking, (i have a few good ones so just need to fit), handbrake cable almost broken (no prob to change that), & of course it needs some welding around the rear jacking points & a bit on the cills too (Paul can testify how good my welder mate is). I'm now discussing with the owner weather she wants all the work done so it can be sold with a new MOT, or to cut losses & either sell it as it is for a bargain price or strip it for parts. I'll be getting the quote for welding tomorrow morning so that will prob be the deciding issue. Anyone interested?

If you're stripping it I'd be interested in the interior i.e. seats, door cards and headlining. Although, I'd prefer for the whole car to go to a good home if poss. If I remember correctly the front seats had some wear on it.

We made the trip to trailer back the machine yesterday, It's the 1st time i had seen it & only knew it had been stood for 4 years! so to be honest i was expecting to find a lump of rust with an Alfa badge on the front. But it's really nice, vertually no visable rust, underside looks fine, 117k on it's clock & Recaro interior is much better than expected.
I'm spending some time on it tommorow so will be putting it in for an mot on Wednesday to see what it needs. Fingers crossed. Very Happy
