My POR15 for the most part is rock hard and has no signs of rust.
The parts that aren't so good had less rigorous prep. I recommend taking preparation time and use their Marine Clean and the etching acid stuff (can't remember the name).

| Bobbber's used the Por 15 stuff. I'm sure he'll be glad to pass on his experiences. |

I've got some rust that needs to be dealt with before it gets too serious, and have been looking at the Por 15 products as well as Rustbuster products, anyone with experience with either?
First job is to repair the fuel tank and both companies offer products which say they'll do the job. I'm following the excellent how to guide fuel tank guide on the Alfa Restoration website and I know those guys used Por 15 and I like that product for the interior tank prep but Rustbusters stuff looks better for the external work.
