Cheers Pat. I'm begiining to get a pretty good list together, which is beginning to enable me to scrutinise Carweb and 'howmanyleft' figures.

Yeah, the thought that it might be brown had crossed my mind too Exclamation Laughing
Yes, got the one on ebay.

Going back to your earlier post, yes people do like to keep P4s running- I know 9 of the taxed cars.

Hi Iain, are you sure it was a 1.5IE? I have 4 red 1 white and one grey; none ending in SPK.

As to Minaris I did a check with John hammond a couple of years ago, but only came up with one car still registered as a 33. I think some were re-registered as Minaris.

There are a few anomalies, as there are with the 'howmanyleft' website figures.

And that red one is back on ebay again.

It's been said before, but some Minaris are registered as 33's having taken the donor car's identity as well as running gear.

Combining these figures with a set of figures i get from DVLA & Carweb i beleive we now an accurate list. Currently 326 33's in the country, 98 of which are taxed. Very Happy
There are 76 16v 33's, 27 of which are taxed.
19 16v s/wagons, 6 are taxed.
68 1.7ie's, 25 are taxed.
Only 4 1.5ie's and 2 are taxed.

We have 50 1.7 series 2's, only 13 taxed.
35 1.5 series 2's, 10 are taxed.

It's interesting to look at other cars especially from the same era.

Alfa 75s, sprints and 155s are getting thin on the ground, but as an alternative they say there are 2362 taxed Pug GTIs, but when did you last see one of them?

They say 45 of which 11 are taxed.
I have the registrations of 46 Exclamation Shocked of these cars (of which 11 are taxed. We believe there are nearer to 70 left.

Can anyone work out from that list how many series 2 1.7s (like mine ) are still on the road?

Some of the figures are accurate and some not. The different listings for similar models is correct. For example there are three listings for 16v (one is cat and the other is pre-cat and the other is the cloverleaf model) It is all down to the DVLA type listings. I am confused about which engine size the two models simply listed as 'Alfa 33' are and what the difference between the sportwagon and the sportwagon 2 are - they would both seem to be series 2.

I've read elsewhere that the data on this site is notoriously variable in quality.

Just found page 2 and now I dont understand this list at all.
Some models seem to be duplicated....sort of Rolling Eyes

Is there really 11 P4's taxed at the moment??
According to this list only the 33 ie (1.7?) is the only model that has more taxed.
