A chipped ECU is a good safe upgrade, microchip tuning will chip yours for £60 or you can buy one off them ready done for £90. Very Happy

Alex, have you chipped yours yet or are you sticking to standard flavour?

Jon, with regards to stripping...I don't think I particularly want to go down that route just yet. I'll probably explore the chip route plus change the manifold (modified equal length not crossover) and see what comes of that. I'm after more torque, throttle response and driveability.

Nice one guys - I'll get exploring!

Actually the best compromise might be to go down the ECU route like Al's done. What do you guys think?

Have chipped it yet? I got mine from Germany years ago off eBay for about £30 Shocked Revs to about 7800 Cool
Plus have you modded the air flow meter?
What exhaust you got? And finally lite = fast

Definitely be getting mine back on the road real soon (hopefully). Really considering going down the carbs route since NAD. Following Cloverleaf Pat bother's car (16v wide arch Sud) and seeing the response that gave got me thinking. Al's car also gives a great response but Pat's brother reckons carbs are easier to manage. What do you guys think?

Morning chaps

Yeah I've been abit quiet in the ALFA world As I've got rite into my jetskiing, built a freestyle standup which I love!! Its such a blast!
The trouble is I don't earn the money I used to after loosing my job last year so something had to give!!

My 33 is in need of alot of love Crying or Very sad She's sitting in the back garden looking very sorry for herself Laughing
Not sure what I'm going to do with her now! I would love to get her back on the road as I've got some goodies ie 1.8 block calibra calipers and a 1.4 box
Cool
Will shall see Wink

Yes it was a good day & i think the best turnout of 33's ive ever seen, in total we had 17 33's on site, although i think 14 was the highest at any 1 time.
Good to see Lee there & was chuffed to see a few new cars/faces too.

Good to see everyone and meet Ian M and Lee in the flesh.

Didn't sell the 33, and I think now I probably won't do much about selling it for a while as I have so much on.

Did you make a purchase Paul?
