The heater controls on my dashboard used to light up, and now they don't!

Anyone know where the bulb is for this? Is it accessible from the stereo hole? (Series 3)

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes they are. They are also accessible from the small tray under the heater panel. However things are a little complicated if you have alfa control panel.

Regards

The digital clock in my car used to have backlighting, now it doesn't. I think water got in around the radio aerial, cos it used to dribble out by the rear view mirror in heavy rain. Wink
Anyone know how to get the whole clock / interior light assembly out without busting anything?

I have some info about that! Send me your Email and I'll send you some pictures!

By the way - I have the alfa control on mine and there are two bulbs in the heater controls - the bottom one is gonna be a right b**ch to get out! Laughing

Hi... Very Happy
To access the heater bulb you can try to remove the shelf above the ashtray...but its an pain to do. If your car has air conditioning, check also if the warning light for it is ok.
When i bought my car, i was aware that there were 2 diferent heater control panels (One without a/c light, and other with it).
I thought that mine was an version without it, but after disassembling the dashboard, i discovered that i had an extra bulb... Smile .
As for the clock light, there are 2 diferent clocks also... Confused . On series 1 & 2 the bulb is not removable (its put in place, a bit like, an led in an circuit board). Latter series 2 and series 3 have a normal bulb holder.
If you cant find an replacement, you can use the Fiat Punto clock (1St series), because its exactly the same, and is the latter type with bulb holder...
Hope this helps
