Bit of a random question but does anyone know if the ignition coil on a 1993 1.7 16v will be a 6v or 12v unit?

Mine seems to have packed up and I could do with knowing for when i go back to my local parts supplier as we're having a few problems with part numbers!

Hi

Be a conventional 12V Bosch coil.

Note the late 8V engines use a coil pack and no distributor.

thanks very much, thought it probably would be 12v but is best to have it confirmed.
