Dear friends,
My 33 has developed a new habit a few weeks ago. On right turning there are somes squeaks coming from the steering wheel casing just under the instrument panel.
What needs oiling, can you please suggest something to do cos it is a bit annoying?
Thanks in advance _________________ 1994 Alfa 33 1.5 IE Cat. 220.000Kms and still going strong!!! (Από την Αθήνα και τώρα στην Λευκωσία) |

Hi,
Does this squeak sound if the weather is hot, the car standing for a while under the direct sun? If yes then the horn brush that slips on the steering wheel disk needs to be lubricated.
It is an easy fix by removing the steering column cases and applying a little quantity of grease. It has happened to my 33 quite some times during the last years.
Hope this helps.
