Finally managed to get my hands on the 1993 Series 3 1.7 IE 8v Alfa 33 I purchase nearly 3 months ago, originally as spares for my racer, however having now had the chance to have a good look at it, it just doesn't seem right to break a near roadworthy 33 being there are so few road registered.
So I'm going to put it back on the road, it's last M.o.T ran out only this March, it starts on the button, only 50k on the clock, electrics work (I was stunned the windows went down and back up) and no major rot, though it does have a rust spot or two on the doors. At the moment she's at Autolusso for a good once over and an initial run at the M.o.T gamut.
She is missing her airbox (thing that houses the airfilter) though so if anyone knows where I can get one from or has one sale please let me know, I need the bit from the end of the black pipe down. I'd take the one off the racer if it had one. |

If the airbox is the same for the 8v as for the 16v (pretty sure it is) I have one here wanting a new home. |

I think the 16v & 8v air boxes are the same, the piping is different that goes to the a.f.m but im sure they use same box. _________________ 155 sportpack

That's right. 16v 33's have a bit larger in diameter piping to AFM |
