|
|
Hi guys, I really need help from anyone here who's ever looked at my 16v conversion site (it's in my sig BUT DON'T CLICK THE LINK NOW )
My University was hosting my 16v conversion page, which I built to describe my 16v conversion work on my 33, but now I've left there they've deleted it without warning. I haven't got a copy of the page ANYWHERE on my computer, and I cleared the Internet Explorer temporary cache a few weeks ago so it's not in there either!
Some of you on this site MIGHT have looked at the page already though. If you have, I need you do to me a favour.
It doesn't take two seconds to check if you have the page stored in your Internet Explorer cache; just click "File" menu at the top, click "Work Offline", then click the "16V conversion pics/videos" link in my signature below...
If it tells you "this web page is not available offline", don't worry, you haven't got it
BUT if my page comes up, you have it stored on your computer. If it is, please do this for me:
While looking at my page, click "File" menu, click "Save As", select "Desktop" on the left (if on winXP), then click "Save". My page and all its images will be copied on your desktop.
Then please get in contact with me (PM me, email me, MSN me, whatever) and I'll sort out getting the contents to me.
Please can y'all try this ASAP, because as soon as you click on the link in my sig while 'working online', the site is removed from cache, because Internet Explorer sees there's nothing there anymore. If you get the page back for me you could save me hours trying to recreate it from scratch!!
Cheers for trying! _________________ Hugh B

The engine I removed was the 1.7 8v unit... with the twin 40mm Dellortos.
I still have the engine and both the carbs. I'm not sure what to do with them yet. _________________ Hugh B

Hi James, I've got the page hosted on my private webspace now but thanks anyway! Click the link to see the page - I've on put more pics (with detailed captions) that should hopefully explain the conversion process. _________________ Hugh B
