				Dear Alfa-friends,

I have a permanent problem with my 16V and still have not found a solution.

When I start the cold engine it runs perfectly and there is no problem. But if I start when the engine is not completely cold (at approx. 20-40°C), the car is running well only until approx. 2500rpms. When I want to get over theese revs, I have to put the accelerator pedal on the floor and then it is accelerating well. When the engine temperature reaches 50°C, then engine SUDDENLY starts to run perfectly.

I tried a blinking test, and it did not found any problem. I also checked the temperature sensor by Ohm-meter against the R/temp characteristic from the Motronic service manual. The spark plugs have been exchanged too.

I think, that more 16V-owners have the same problem. In our country I know at least two. I searched in the history of this great discussion list and found some similar problems to mine, but without solution

If you have any tips, I would be vary pleased. Thanks in advance,
