I am just totally amazed with the performance of my P4 and I am just wondering if it has been chipped. How can I tell? The performance on the motorway is amazing. When accelerating from 80MPH it just rockets and any car behind me (poor BMZ Z3 2.2) just disappears in the distance. It seems to be better than other cars that I have driven which includes a Subaru Imprezza turbo, Golf GTI turbo and Seat Cupra turbo. I purchased the car for £600 with spare set of Borbet alloys and Yokohama sports tyres which I sold for £200 so all in all I paid just £400. The car came with sebring free flow muffler set, Tarox brakes, K&N filter and a few other minor mods. Just considering a new exhaust system and possibly the Squadra chip but the performance of the car is so outstanding I am not sure if I should. I have to mention that Dean, a member of AROC who I contacted, serviced and resolved some issues with this car and made it what it is today. Any advice? If there are any P4 drivers in the Middlesex area get in touch. I am also looking to fit a towbar are they different for the P4 than the standard 16V?
