The car has been totally sorted and by this I mean a complete engine-out overhaul including the prop shaft supports. Details of the work are listed below:-

New head gaskets
New cam shaft seals
New cam cover gaskets
New valve guide seals
Infact, all the gaskets you can find in a head gasket set. So definately NO oil leaks!
New water pump
New big end bearings
New prop shaft doughnut & bearing
Reconditioned gearbox and believe me you will NOT be able to crunch second gear even if you change down at 70mph!
Tarox front brakes and pads
Braided front brake hoses.
New cam belts and the 4-off little plastic wheels that guide the belts.
New fan belt
Recent clutch and battery
Recent rear calipers and discs/pads
Eprom chip giving 150 BHP
The tyres are virtually new and I have lots of spare parts if anyone is interested.
The car has plenty of history and I have all the old MOT's to validate the mileage which currently stands at 80K.
Proper Recaro interior with leather Nardi steering wheel.
Electric windows, central locking and alarm although I have never used the alarm.
Everything works, except for heated rear window.

MOT until April although it will sail through another. Tax October.
The car is red (of course!) and the condition is very good with only a few minor rust spots which are too small to bother with. The underneath has never been welded and the rest of the bodywork is totally original as far as I can tell. The car is a 1991/J model so no need to worry about one of those nasty 'cat' thingys that cost a fortune to replace! It also has a personal plate (C2 RCE) and I would be prepared to negotiate an additional price for the plate if anyone is interested.

All this work has cost me a fortune in time and money so I am looking for a sensible price £1450. However, rest assured that you are looking at a car which will last a long time and only require routine servicing for many years to come. I am based in Bournemouth and serious buyers are welcome to test drive the car under careful supervision!
