I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's a straightforward procedure to retrofit foglights.

Before I splash out on a set, can anyone confirm this is so?

Yes... It`s "plug&play".

All that is needed, are the fog lights, the switch for the dashboard, and a relay.
All the wiring is in place. By memory, the relay connection is the bulkhead in front of the driver (on left hand drive cars). On right hand drive cars, it can be on a different location.
