Hi guys,
Just over a week since my girlfriend took ownership of her P4. We've noticed that sometimes it feels like it wants to cut out when idling soon after starting up, if you rev it a bit it's fine. Once warmed up it also seems fine and idles at 950rpm.
If you start it up and just let it idle it will usually cut out. Any ideas? I'm not very mechanically minded. Is there an idle speed adjuster of some kind I can tweak in an experimental kind of way in the vain hope that it's not something serious?! |

Hi
The control for the idle speed is the small bit mounted on the front of the plenum chamber. It is electronically controlled and not adjustable. However it might be worth cleaning it out with carb cleaner
All the best
