Hi,
I was underneath the old girl today (must be christmas or my birthday ) and up in under the nearside wing, above the horns is a black box...........
I'm a bit lost to what this is. It has a drain plug on it and looks as if a vacuum pipe goes in somewhere along the lines.
I know someone is going to say 'god he's a sandwich short of a picnic' but i am puzzled and just curious as to what it is/does.
Cheers, Lee |

Cheers bob, I knew you'd have the answer.
Does this ever need replacing or is it a life of car jobby? |

My 33 never had one.
I think it's something that reduces emmissions - so probably needs servicing now and again.... unless you are like me and like heating up the atmosphere.
I don't think it has anything to do with running a well running car. So if it was me - I'd just leave it well alone.
