Hi Bob,

The villa looks very nice. We are not used in such buildings in Greece so staying there will be a nice opportunity!

Should we start bookings when the dates of the event are announced?

Best regards,

Yes - once the weekend is announced.... it will be a massive rush to get the cheapest ferries and villa spaces!

Mostly rush for the villa though....as I understand most ferry companies only book ahead 6 months.

Just been reading up on driving in Belgium......Time i've bought the Fire extinguisher, visability vest, headlamp converters, first aid kit and warning triangle there will be no dough left for drinking.......which will probably be a good job as the drink/drive limit is lower and can carry big fines and up to 5 years in jail. Those Belgians need to chill a bit Laughing

Seriously though, Bob/John, what from the above list did you take any notice of......if any?

Hi

Belgium must have changed a lot then. I worked there 8~9 years ago. Drink drive limit was in theory lower, but to get the basic UK penalty you needed to be at almost double the UK limit. Numerous stories there of people driving drunk. One guy I worked with was in a bar when someone left and was so far gone they couldn't get the key in the lock of the car. Policemen turned up, took the keys off him, unlocked the car, sat him down and sent him on his way.

As was put to me when I went there, when crossing a 1 way street look both ways. Most just take it as a note on which way the headlights are pointing rather than which way to go.

All the best

Keith

Is this the date :

http://www.citytrip-brussels.be/informations/sporting_events_francorchamps__spa_italia/EN/ES/45656.html

"subject to change" and it doesn't appear on the SpaItalia website yet... BUT HOW EXCITIN'!

What I will suggest for those who want to visit Brussels (I think that's your lot Than!?) is to maybe arrive there before SPA and then all meet up in that restaurant in the evening as the Brits are passing through? (John... can't remember the name, but a great place for us all to meet?!).

Oui, je ne sais pas, moi!

J'ai écrit il ya plus d'un mois, et la réponse est "nous ne savons pas encore."

Maintenant ... Je suis toujours en attente pour la prochaine email avec le temps!

Basically I wrote to them... they said they would know in a month... that's well past... still no date or announcement.

Hmmm.... 19th September that were.

Merci,

Bob

The cost of Villa has gone up a little.... we are losing our 'early booking' advantage!

Come on, come on, come on..... (does nervous shuffle)....
