Just for the info, how much would you be prepared to pay for an Alfa 33 P4 with only 8000 miles and the carpeting still in protective foil, without rust.
It's like from the factory and with all the right names, recaro seats, momo steering wheel only no aircon...

I found that kind of car and want to know how much is it realy worth it.

P4 left factory only with Nardi steering wheel not momo
When new it was 40 000 DEM, around 20k euros now.

Ok then it's a Nardi and the seller just made a mistake because the car is totaly stock and without flaws.

So 5000 euros wouldnt be too much for a let's say collectors item?

In 1998 I payed equivalent of 6k euros now for my P4 and it was nowere near mint condition with 100k km on clock.
5k euros is bit high but in about 10 years P4 could be collector item worth that money.

I think it's not too expensive if it looks like new and with the fact that there aren't many of P4 around...

I'll go check it out, and post some pictures.

i agree - it could be a shrewd investment if stored in a garage for 10 years or so.

Would probably make a good fiscal investment, but also 5000euros (£3750ish GBP?) isn't bad for a nearly new (condition) alfa fun machine that can be driven and enjoyed every day for years. Very Happy

What else would the money get you? In the UK a reasonable but tired 156 perhaps?

Compare also to buying a 'good' P4 or 33 16v for maybe £1000-£1500+, that might actually need you to spend out on transmission probs, suspension, brakes, engine rebuild, pas rack.....

Let's see some pics when you buy it! Wink

A car like that is a one off and is really worth however much you're prepared to pay, it's not like you'll find the same thing cheaper once you've bought it and regret paying what you did.
Think of a price, then inagine how you'd feel if you found out someone just bought that car for £50 more. If you feel gutted it's not your top price.

Bear in mind that although it's 'nearly new' any parts that perish over time will need to be replaced, i'm not an expert but the cam belts will certainly need to be changed, probably anything made of rubber, CV boots etc.

And none of the UK P4s that i've seen had aircon.

Now you guys are making my head hurt. I looked at and had to turn down( under dire threats from the home front) a local P4 for NZ$1000(say UK$300) With only 5 in this country and the increasing rarity overseas it surely must become a collectable Alfa in the future. Not, I'll admit, as pristine an example as the one under discussion but nonetheless desirable.
For me the attraction would be to supercharge the 16v thus increasing its non existent torque without the torque steer that would happen with a standard one.
Ah me, my dream Alfa.
Regards Eddie
