Does anyone have a scrap heater that will offer up an unbroken operating cam / quadrant for the fresh air / recirculate controls?
This is the the quarter circle (actually slight more, 100 degrees or so) thing on the outside of the battery side of the heater.
It is connected to the control that chooses between fresh air or recirculation and has various slots in it to control levers coming out of the main heater body.
I replaced one on our previous 33 a few years back but Alfa no longer sell the part but will sell you a new heater for £650!

I've got a spare heater unit in my shed, I'll have a look for the part for you (unless you want the whole unit?)
