is it called
Idle actuator control valve
Idle control valve
Is there any special replacement procedure, as in disconnecting the ECU?
I ask this as i have just cleaned mine and noticed that when it was connected but not insitu, it had trouble closing fully when the ignition was turned on, there is a hum/buzzing. I think i may have damaged it as i tried to force it open when lubricationg it.I can get the valve to close with no force but now the car wont idle unless the valve is disconnected.

lol
dun, so must be fooked, manual just says that if hunting occurs when connection is removed, then replace. I did try resetting the ecu.

Can anyone give a technical explanation on how it works in combo with the ecu controlling the rpm? As mine seems to idle just fine without it connected, thanks.
