Hi there,

My car doesn't seem to run fine when driving in first gear and/or driving at constant speeds. Shakes a little (gets little worse when it has been raining). Now I have been told to first check the ignition leads! What's supposed to be the resistance of the ignition leads to the sparkplugs and what is supposed to be the resistance of the one to the ignition coil?

Many thanks,

Hi QV
Any reading under 20,000 Ohms should be ok. Shorter leads should be a bit lower. 7 to 15 is common
