Hi!
Can anyone tell me how much does a 16v front seat weights?
Everyone is telling me that a recaro one weights almost twice than a regular 16v seat...
The Recaro one weights 16Kgs.
Th 16v regular seat only weights 8Kg ?!?

I have a pair of p4 recaro seats here and 1 standard 16v seat so i will get them on the scales now and report back.

I would expect them to be the same, may even be lighter than the standard as there seems to be less material on the recaro's.
I bought a light weight bucket seat which was 7.5kg then a second seat (different make) which was 12.5kg.

Ok, i have just weighed a p4 Recaro seat at 13kg & a standard 16v seat (the style with the hard plastic headrests & the cloth that is very similar pattern to the p4 recaro) weighed in at 7.5kg.

Thats really weird...
I just weighed the P4 seat i have here and the scale says 15,8Kgs ...
I really thought the 16v standard seat was heavyer...

I just weighed my 16v seat and it's 15,1Kg .
And the Recaro weighed 16,2Kg ...
What kind of seat is that that has only 7,5 Kg ?!?

Cant be the scale...
I double checked with my weight, it's working fine...
The standard seat is telling 15,1 Kg and the Recaro 16,2...
( with rails mounted )
