I need to replace the eight bushes on the rear tie rods with polyurethane ones. Does anyone have any experience of these? Which is best, Superflex or Poweflex? _________________ 16v p4 In pieces. |

Hi,
Also mine need replacing.
As a project it is rather easy - you unbolt, replace, bolt again and that's it.
BUT : since these have to do with the suspension you must take into account that the car should be loaded with static load prior bolting the tie rod bolts. Static load means about 50 kg in the passenger compartment and 75 luggage.
Personally I wouldnt do that only for replacing the bushes-I would combine it along with shock absorbers replacement as also this procedure needs static load considerations.
All the best, _________________ Thanassis Gritsopoulos
