Hi Bob,
i sorted original prob at hotel that night, (selector rod jumped out of forks) but cos i emptied g/box oil to do it, thinking i could find some at a garage on the way, But no not in belgium ! the diff exploded on us just outside dunkirk
had to abandon it then go back following weekend,
It was a Great trip all said and done
about 700 quid for 1 lap of Spa... ! cars home now anyway and just about ready to drive again as of today.
Am still going next year tho.... but will probably take Q4 this time as i know it wont break so easily.

Hi,
Last Sunday, while cruising it happed to be a nice series I Alfasud behind me just a few blocks away from my home. The car was very nice, shiny color, even the inside of the wheel arches where so clean that the color was matching the exterior one!
We ended waiting next to each other at the traffic lights where I congratulated the happy owner along with his wife. He told that he loved so much the car that he would never give it; it has been with him for 30 years!.
Probaby the best Sud I have ever seen so far.
Suds are becoming rare enough even for Greece where the climate has saved these cars compared to Norhtern Europe from the tin worm.
Regards

Everything depends on the driver I guess. I ALWAYS wave at other 33s! Unfortunately up here, the last one I saw was in 2003!

Post subject: Seeing other 33s on the road
I've seen 2 33s on the road in the last couple of weeks and neither of them showed any sign of acknowledgment
The one this morning was a white 1.7 ie on the way to work, so at slow speed i was behind him, alongside him, in front of him when i flashed my hazards, then behind him again, but nothing.
Is this normal?
