Hi,
Correct ! series III 33s DO have 2 shorter spacers for the front part and 2 higher spacers for the rear part of the seat.
Just a notice they are still available new from Alfa.

If you look at the icons at the top, the seat one tells you all about this.... just a thought.

The series III has 2 big and two small too!
They are used to change the seating position (height).

Thanks...
They lift the interior look, a lot, and they are much more suportative and confortable, than the standard ones...
However, i´m still not happy. The standard driving position, is lower, and i will have to make new adapters, to lower the Recaros, because the ones that i made, are a bit tall...
If even so, i`m still not happy, i still have another plan...
My car has 4 spacers per seat (between the seat rails, and the floor), and they all have the same size (big ones). On series 2 they used to have 2 big ones and other 2, smaller...
I plan to install 4 of these per seat, and this way, i hope to be back "on tha ground"
All the best

ITS DONE!!!!
Thanks people, i`ve done it. My 16v now wears Recaro seats.
And to prove it here´s some pics of the conversion...
On this picture, there was only one inside the car, to check the differences and feeling on the standard seats and the recaros
Job done...
Now i have to retrim the back seat and the door cars to match the Recaros
All the best

Post subject: another easier method
simply measure the dimensions for the holes in the seat where the rails are attached. then measure the dimensions for the holes in the floor where the rail is bolted to. you then make a bracket using two lengths of 5mm steel plate - each length of plate has the 2 sets of front and rear holes (4 total per length - on for left one for right). as long as the seat and floor points are not on top of each other this is a good way to adapt the new seat to your original seat rails. this is how i mounted aftermarket seats in my sprint...

Hi again...
If you can post pictures, that would be great
I need a idea, if the seat bases are equal... My Recaros, were fitted to a Fiat Tipo SeidiciValvole, and camed without the rails.
Here is how they look:
If it was possible, i needed 3 photos...
From the bottom of the seat (to see if the bolt pattern is the same)
From the adaptor plates betweem the rails and the seat itself
And finally from the rails (to check if they are the same used by all 33)
I know i`m asking a lot, but in Portugal, i cant find any help. The P4/Q4, were not sold here.
In all my life, i only saw 6 or 7, 33`s fitted with Recaros.
My main doubt, is if the seat base is equal... If it was, i could buy the adaptor plates, directly from Alfa Romeo, or make new ones...
If the seat base is diferent, i can use the photo of the plates to create new ones, custom made...
Thanks for your help

Hi...
My 16v, has the standard sport seats used on all 16v...
I already, found that the recaros use the same rails, but have "8 adaptor plates" betweem the rails and the seats...
What i needed was a photo of these to try to fabricate ones of my own.
Thanks for your replie

Post subject: Recaro Seat rails
Hi all...
After 2/3 years of search, finally i`ve managed to get a pair of front Recaros for my 33 16v.
The problem, is that, they didnt came from a Alfa 33, not even a Alfa at all...
They are similar, to the P4/Q4 ones, but will be retrimed using some cloth from extra door cards and a rear bench to look like the real thing...(they will be the real thing)
Problem is, that as they dont came from a Alfa, the seat rails are not compatible with the 33 floor...
Anyone can post pictures from these, or better still...Is a set avaiable for sale???
Thanks for your time
P.Camilo
