Forgot to update the post. I popped over to see the foster parents and they were very good about it. The kid has a couple of social workers and the forster parents just need written quotes. I have 2 quotes, 1 for £601 the other for £906. Remove and replace front n/s wing, paint n/s front wing and blend into bonnett and n/s front door. I was about to put in a claim for vandalism that was done a few months ago, but have to wait until this has been repaired, as it devalues the car. Ive already replaced all broken parts to keep the cost down. Typical, i wanted to get the car on agreed value.
Totally mad.
Imagine if you had clipped the little buggers bicycle back wheel instead.
Ask the council / parents how much cash they get per week for letting the little one out to play havock!

Well, my insurance is to be renewed tomorrow, I haven’t put in a claim for vandalism yes as this matter hasn’t been resolved yet. The foster parents told me that the kid shouldn’t have been out by himself/or they were trying to give him more independence and this happens. I have said to the council that I don’t really want to go down the road of doing a private prosecution or getting my insurance legal team against the foster parents, but it looks like I have no choice. The update from the council is that they won’t pay out unless I prove that the foster parents were being negligent.

Well bad. My local alfa garage has a silver 33 that I already have had the door mirrors, front grill and covers for the side rear skirts. They will be race preparing it, I will see if he will let me swap wings, as my other wing has a dent in it (from previous owner) and possibly the bonnet (lacquer flaking) and rear side skirt (there cracked)

Update, I just got a call from the council saying that they think it is going to be a no go, as in no public liability insurance!!!
Looks like i might have to do a private prosecution, as i dont want to put in a claim. My insurance company has someone that deals with things like this called action claims. This doesnt go against my insurance as a claim, who knows how long this will take.
Rather annoyed

Hi,
you may be lucky enough to get a used wing in the same colour, that 'might' be a good match, else try a quote from one of those 'smart repair' people that come in a van- I've seen wonders worked on paint damage, and they may be able to pull the dent out???
Your only real hope is that the foster parents are good sorts, who will stump up for your repair. They get quite a bit of dosh to look after the little bugger, so they can cough up!
My brother had an Alfa 75 stoned by some toe-rag kid a few years back. Parents were thugs, police not interested, so he lost his insurance excess- great!!
good Luck!

Well, my car has been damaged again.
Anyone got any idea on how much it will cost to get repaired?
Nearside front wing dented, probably cheaper to replace the wing, then paint and then blend into bonnet, door and lacquer.
My alarm went off, loads of kids as witnesses, got the kids name and escorted him home. He is a foster child and his foster parents weren’t in, I will go back with car soon.
I spoke to the police who say it’s a civil matter, as it was an accident and as I have the kid’s details, it’s up to me to get compensation from the parents. I can either do this myself or get my insurance company to do it.
I haven’t put in a claim for the last vandalism act yet FFS, as I was going to do it after my renewal date in less than a month.
that was me
