only concern i would have is shortening the life of the rubbers in the middle which are bit tricky to get hold of so they say...

Post subject: P4 question, running without the rear weight?
Has anyone run a P4 in 4wd mode without the rear weight? I know it's meant to absorb vibration but can't help wondering how much it is needed, and it would be nice to remove that amount of rotating weight from the drive-train.
I might give it a go myself when i fix my prop.
