hi bellamachinna
I had tsw evo's which were from a 155 narrow body, i had to fit 5mm spacers on my ser 3 1992 16v 33, the tyres were 205 50 15, i fitted 195 50 15 on the front but the rears rubbed when going over bumps and people in the back. Mind you my car is lowered. Hope that helps.
The wheels are for sale if anyone is interested, want deep dish with chrome/polished alloy and no spacers. |

Yup the v6's comes in 4 lug. If I'm not mistaken, 0.5 mm has to be taken off the centre bore to fit. Goodluck |

Nope - all 155s have 4 studs including the v6 and my wheels definitely came off one. The 156 has 5 studs. |

Yeah, those are the ones I've got (also fitted to the 155v6) - they should fit no problem! They look good too! |
Think the 155V6 has 5 stud wheels.
Main difference between the 33 hubs and the Tipo based hubs is the size of the centre locating ring. 1~2mm different.
All the best

Hi Bellamachinna
You shouldn't have any problems with clearance on the rear - I tried to fit my wheels which are currently fitted with 205/50/15 tyres and they went on ok (I'll be changing them for 195/50/15 tyres though). There's some more information if you you do a search for "155v6 alloys" - the info comes up on page 2 of the search, basically its the info we've already discussed - wheels fit fine, no spacers required and centre bore being 0.5mm smaller on the 155 wheels. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your help Lee - I managed to find some stuff on the alfaowner forum in the 155 section and looked at parts on my E-per parts disc. In case anyone is interested, the plastic studs are listed and seem to be about £2.50 for 5 so hopefully when refurbishing you can just remove the old ones and replace them with new ones (don't know if these studs are definitely available though, I'll have to check). |

Yup...
Thanks for that... I was concernd about that coment that "djstanley" posted that the rear tyres where tight up against one of the suspension arms.
This got me thinking. I`m still waiting for them to arrive, but i will be fitting 195/50 tyres, instead of the 205/50 tyres that will be supplied with the alloys.
I hope that skinnier tyres, will solve this clearence issue...
Also i believe that he must have fitted the alloys to a series 1/2. On the series 3, the suspension arms have diferent pick-up points (all on the front of the wheels), and on the series 1/2, the lower arm pick up point is on the front, but the upper arm, is rear mounted...
I hope this was the problem...
Thanks again |

Any ideas on how to refurbish these wheels? I had a look on the 155 forum and found a bit of info but not as much as I'd like and as I'm not a member I can't ask the question. Also, any idea what wheel bolts to use to fit onto a 33? I assumed that the 155v6 ones would be best - the 33 ones are a little short. |

Hi...

PS I thought you had problems in Portugal with fitting non-standard parts? |
Yes, we do have problems... But, fortunatly, the Alfa importer, is legalizing cars, and homologating then for road use.
My papers state that i use 185/60R14 tyres at the front, and 175/65R14 at the back( )
So, after a word with, FIAT Portugal, they sent me to another engennering companny. Those people wrote a letter, stating that there was no problem to car and general public safety, so DGV can make new documents stating new tyre dimensions... I managed to get approval for 195/50R15 and 205/50R15.

Which wheels have you got? I've seem some q4s with wheels with a fake split rim design with lots of holes round the outside, the same as late 33 16v but bigger |
Exactly these ones. 15`Wheels, with similar design to 33Q4 wheels |

Hi Bellamachinna
Which wheels have you got? I've seem some q4s with wheels with a fake split rim design with lots of holes round the outside, the same as late 33 16v but bigger, or I've seem another fake split rim design with a five spoke pattern. Either way, I think the offset is 41mm for both (I've got the ones with holes and they fit OK, my friend had the second type on his Alfasud and they were ok too - the only thing you need to do is enlarge the centre bore by 0.5mm otherwise they are a bit tight.
Hope that helps
Rich

Hi all...
Seems that i`ll finally will be buying the 15` Speedline wheels, that camed on the 155 Q4...
However, i have some questions...
Anyone knows their offset??? And the PCD, is the same ???
I known that the 33 PCD is 4x98 and the offset is 39mm, but know nothing about the 155 data...
All the best |
