Absolutely!
If you recall the 'final' (should have been!) 3 part christmas special from 1996, the batman and 'lesser' mariners watch one, trigger won an award from the council for his services to the community as a road sweeper. He said he'd had the same broom for 30 years or something, it had just had 20 handles, and 25 heads....

I try not to give the MOT station any excuse to fail it, and with the car being like Triggers broom, my only worries were NS lower suspension arm (had to have new OS last time- bush perished apparantly-looked ok to me), and the rear tyres are so old they are getting a few cracks in them.
How's the resto going? As you probably know there is a complete 16v lump on ebay ending soon. I might bid on the gearbox from the same car, with a veiw to possibly changing it in the spring.

Post subject: 33 passed MOT -hooray!
Hi,
Car passed MOT today
Emmissions -CO 0.01 and HC 13 - think the HC is a bit lower than last year- did thrash the nuts off it before MOT
Treated the car to a present for passing (i know - sadcase). See my latest avatar, got these alfa badge wheel centres a few weeks ago from Mangos, when ordering headligts for the 145. I've wanted these for yonks, and spotted they were on special offer on the mangos website £16 for 4 including VAT - get some now!!
Happy John
