I found "Favorites" a bit cumbersome.
I keep all links I think might need in future in alphabetical order in an Excel database, I now have nearly 900 saved. As soon as I come across a useful new site I chuck it in there.
Using columns for Name, URL, Category (eg Car Parts, Forums), Keyword (eg Alfa, Brakes), and Comments (eg New, Online sales) I can sort by Category, then Keyword, to find any site I have saved there really quickly, and copy the URL into Explorer.
If I am looking for something I can look at the entire Category page to see possible sources.

Post subject: Favourites
I have seen a lot of posts where people post up links to sites we may find useful.
I spent a while trying to sort out my car / Alfa / Alfa 33 favourites into groups that can be found with ease. This may sound easy but it is not, I was looking for suggestions and think if we all sorted out our favourites into this proposed format we could then all post up our favourites and then have a good library of favourites.
I’ll make a start but still need suggestion on the format.
What do you think guys?
Hold the suggestions until you see what I have so far.
eg, something like this
+---alfa
| +---alfa 33
| | +---alfa pages
| | +---cats
| | +---maintainence
| | +---manuals
| | +---mods
| | +---parts
| | +---pics
| | \---vids
| +---manuals
| +---mods
| +---my car
| | +---alarm
| | +---handsfree car kit
| | +---pics
| | \---stereo
| +---parts
| +---pics
| \---vids
+---bodywork
+---brakes
+---buy sell cars

+---fuel
+---lpg
+---oil
+---online shopping magazines
+---pics
+---projects
+---tools
+---vids
+---wheels & tyres
\---windows tinting
but it didnt come out correctly when i posted it up
Keith can I upload bookmark.htm file so that others can import into their favourites and have a look? If not I have emailed it to you to host and possibly put on here.
