Thanks to John and Alex for allowing me to take some measurements from their 16v coils.
I got
Primary 0.9 & 0.9
Secondary 6.4 & 5.74
Also another 16v owner said
"Hi Al - measured coil on a 33 16v with ML4.1 and I think the original coil and the primary winding is .8 Ohms. Could not check secondary as the coil lead is very tight and did not want to break it !! Hope this helps"

Inner to outer read, 7.5, 7.0, 7.1, 8.1, 7.9, 14.1, 12.4/11.8, 5.5, 7.7 & 7.7"

Hi
Bosch seem to give up on some part numbers. There are some relays they used to make that they no longer list (unfortunatly could do with some for the Maserati).
All the best

I went to a Lucas dealer and asked him to look up the bosch part number, but there was no coil listed in his book for a 16V?????
My bosch coil has this part number on the bottom
0 221 122 427, however this is not listed at all in his part book???
I went to halfords and they list a bosch part number of
0 221 122 344, so I went back to the Lucas dealer and they are listed at £27.28+vat
Something doesn’t add up here, has someone just fitted any old coil to mine? Could someone, or all of you, please post up your Bosch only part numbers for your coils and say what its for, 16V, IE, 8v ect, thanks

Anyone know what the readings should be? In a service manual it says check readings are within manufactures tolerances and if not replace but doesn’t say what they are???
