Hi, My 33 has just sailed (well almost) thru it's MOT again. It got 3 advises which were: 1) Front pads worn low - I knew, got the new ones to put in somewhere in the garage. Might do this weekend if it's fine. 2) O/S/R tyre worn almost to limit - I knew- thought this might fail it, but haven't had time to get one. Will order tomorrow from Ebay - Got 2 Pirelli p6000s cheap a few months back for the front  3) N/S/F wheel bearing slight play - It has had since i bought the car in 2001, but this is the first time the (same) mot station has said anything. 4) VERBAL warning that rear brakes were a bit weak on handbrake and footbrake. I said they are on all 33s, and he sort of raised a smile. Thank F**k For That. Took the car straight to timber yard where i managed to get a bunch of 2.7 metre floorboards in (dashtop to back of boot diagonal), and shut the tailgate no problem - WHAT A GREAT CAR!!!!! John :D :D :D
Post subject: 33 passes MOT!
Hi,
My 33 has just sailed (well almost) thru it's MOT again.
It got 3 advises which were:
1) Front pads worn low - I knew, got the new ones to put in somewhere in the garage. Might do this weekend if it's fine.
2) O/S/R tyre worn almost to limit - I knew- thought this might fail it, but haven't had time to get one. Will order tomorrow from Ebay - Got 2 Pirelli p6000s cheap a few months back for the front
3) N/S/F wheel bearing slight play - It has had since i bought the car in 2001, but this is the first time the (same) mot station has said anything.
