No it's not mint by any standards, arches are bubbling, not bad but will need doing before the next MOT. The screen is milky around bottom corners, it's not tatty, just needs tlc. |

I think he should take it to New Zealand just to get it away from here! it doesn't really fit in with the nice 33's over here. it's horrible! |

|
I found out today that this creation has a 2.0 flat 4 engine from a 1973 Lancia Flavia! It has the 4-speed Lancia gearbox with it too. I spoke to a Lancia guy today & he said the engine is worth an easy £500. I know all you guys will be saying the same as me when reading this, WHY , i wish i knew that answer. |

Very strange you should say that, only today i've been asked by 2 people for that strip. Yes it would be a crime if he chucked it. |

I totally agree, it's a very strange list of things to do to a 33, or any car for that matter! I'm going to find out what engine is in the thing as i dont think it is a scooby lump |

I'm no originality freak but why would you sacrifice the boot just to reposition the exhaust outlet and sacrifice the rear seats to put a racing accessory in a car that's never going to race. Strange. |

My money is on it being a Lancia Gamma lump circa about 1980- '82 pretty sure they were a boxer.

Now I may be wrong but..... I don't remember any Fiat engine being a flat 4, the fiat 500 was a 2 cylinder flat 2, but certainly not a 2 litre, maybe its a normally aspirated scooby doo engine?. |

|
I was asked to find a home today for quite possibly the strangest 33 ever! A guy in the Rugby area has done some "costomizing" to his 33 but is moving to New Zealand in Sept so the creation is needing a new owner. It started off life as a nice grey K reg p4, it is now orange, with permanent rear wheel drive, a fully retractable vinyl roof (entire roof), has the exhausts exiting where rear reg plate originally was (so no boot as zorst pipes come through there), rear roll cage (so no rear seats) & has a 2.0 flat 4 engine from a Fiat! (he can't remember which Fiat).
It also has a list of other more subtle mods, remote c/l, talking alarm, koni suspension, i think it also has remote door opening as door handles have been removed & smoothed.
I will of coarse be getting LOTS of pictures of it soon so they will be circulated.
Offers around the £850 area are what he is after. |
