Well that means that the DVLA hasn't been told that it has been scrapped, so there is a chance it still exists.

DVLA checker gives the tax due on 01 05 2005 so it's not looking good I'm afraid.

I have the registrations of 30 of the 59 P4s left in the country, but unfortunately, yours is not on the list. If you give the full registration to Bobbber he can tell you if it's still around.
