OK, got me a cat but the supplier had no gaskets. Firstly, as there seems to be a chamfered face on the cat (and I assume the gasket has a profile that will match) I guess this is a thin gasket rather than the thick 'sandwichy' ones that tend to go between flat flanges. Secondly, does anyone have a pat number (Timax???) that my factors will understand or know of another car that would be the same?
Got one from Mangoletsi for about £4 (plust postage etc).
From one side the the innermost feature is a groove, viewed from the otherside it is of course a ridge, is there a right and wrong way round?
Cheers

Post subject: Catalyst gasket
OK, got me a cat but the supplier had no gaskets.
Firstly, as there seems to be a chamfered face on the cat (and I assume the gasket has a profile that will match) I guess this is a thin gasket rather than the thick 'sandwichy' ones that tend to go between flat flanges.
Secondly, does anyone have a pat number (Timax???) that my factors will understand or know of another car that would be the same?
