Hi Alex, yes definitely interested. New stereo in my red 33 is too powerful for the standard speakers. Save me a pair and send me an invoice after Christmas? |

These speakers are £14.70 posted. I have sold 5 pairs so far & fitted them in both the front & rear doors on my M reg 33, sounds soooo much better.
Yes like Iain said they will fit in any 33 door witout hitting any glass or window motor but either cutting the door card or fitting s3 cards is the only way to fit into a s2 Ian.
For the price i think they are great, just nice to triple the sound quality & still keep the original 33 look as they fit behind the standard grills. |

If you cut new holes Ian and run longer wires from the lower dash location.
As Al said the higher the tweeter the more clarity you get especially listening to the radio. I fitted 2 Alpine 10cm 2 way speakers in the original dash location but with no box behind the speaker the sound is very flat.
You could fit series 3 door cards and handles (using handles from the rear doors so no holes from the electric door switches). Sound a pain but less than 2hrs work. |

John, if you do deside to get these I would suggest disconnecting the tweeter on them and using the original alfa ones in the doors or using both.
If you only use the ones in the new speakers you will loose clarity as the speaker location blocks direct to ear sound of the high frequencies.
The original alfa loom uses 2 x 5mm female spade connectors, you will need to make an adapter up for negative terminal on the new speakers. |

I'd probably try a pair at £10 posted. £12 posted on the 'bay.

If anyone has the oval door speakers & would like better noises from them without having big "boy racer" style things glued to their door panels, then this may be for you . I've got lots of these 70w speakers that fit behind the original 33 grills, perfect fit! I've fitted them in my M-reg 33 & took some picies for you to see.
The standard Alfa ones are paper 20w jobies, these new ones are great. |
