Oh dear, the Alfasudparts guy is someone i know very well, if there is anything anyone wants on ebay then please let me know and i can make sure he does not bid on it. Which manifold did you want John? Alfasudparts man sells 99% of his items abroad which is how he can charge £7000 for a wiper arm! he is sympathetic to us fellow 33'ers (as he is a 33 owner himself), and if he knows someone needs a bit for their 33 or Sud he won't bid on it. Hope this helps.
I support Peter here as I live in South America with strict customs.
He's been extremely helpful to get parts to me down here.
If you need something from him why not contact him directly? He has very reasonable prices.

Post subject: 33 16 valve exhaust manifold
Hi John.
Please get your facts right before posting something that is not true.
I sell parts to help every 33, sprint and alfasud owner around the world, to over 80 countries and do my utmost to help them find what they need, there are many 33 owners from south america to africa who do not get in a petty hump when i source them an item, this 16 vlave manifold was wanted by the boxer specialist for south america based in chile and I was bidding on his behalf.
Kind regards
Peter

I had a simular thing happen last week from a motorsports parts seller on the bay, I was outbid by a fiver.
The seller has several adverts for the same part so I bid on a different ad, sure enough the same person outbid me again so I left it.
Then a few days ago I was offered the said part for my original bid.
Seems like the other bidder was not after the part afterall.!.

Post subject: Rant- parts vendor
I accept anyone being an individual, trader or company is absolutely free to bid on, bid up, and buy alfa 33 parts on ebay for:
Their own cars
Their friends cars
People in other countries, out of the goodness of their hearts
To mark up and resell for profit in the UK and Internationally
