John you have hit the nail on the head with a very big accurate hammer, i am currently building a 33 pick-up, have a grey 16v sportwagon & chopping/welding to create the pick-up rear end. (my mate Alan who is painting my M reg 33 is helping with the job). This black p4 back end was chopped with a trailer for the pick-up in mind.
