I occasionally get things like ''you don't see those anymore''. We had a carpet fitted a couple of years ago and the young fella that did the job was very interested in the 33, to the point where he said he might get one, don't think he ever did though- probably just temporarily overcome by the spray adhesive fumes  John
Last 2 times that i got pulled over by the police, and after checking the papers, they complimented me by keeping my 33 in good shape...

Slightly off the topic but amusing enough to share.
At the weekend a group from Alfa owner, some from southwest & some from south Wales had a meet at the Haynes Motor Museum.
We all met at a service area a few miles from the museum and were greeted with this rather satisfying sight.

I have had several nice comments, one of the last ones was my old bosses daughter who loved the car as I opened the garage door. The best bit was for years of ribbing and piss taking from both my ex boss and his wife their daughter loved it.
Needless to say I saulted them as they left with 2 fingers lol.

Weird John..... My last comment was from a carpet fitter. An older chap who was asking loads of questions. He was surprised when I told him it was original paint and was making nice remarks. On the flip side, his apprentice, a lad in his late teens couldn't be less interested!
Normal comments from mates are 'you still got that heap then' and when you arrive 'you made it then'

Post subject: Other motorists comments
last week I got a comment from a white van driver pulling out of a T junction as I was pulling up to park,
"Nice Alfa mate"
Today whilst filling up with petrol another driver said,
"Nice car mate"
Any other other members get this? Nice to know other motorists appreciate a good old classic Alfa
even though mine isn't the tidiest.
