| i am confused, maybe someone fitted a 16v cross member to my yellow ser 2 then as the 16v engine cam belt covers fit and you say that the 8v dont have the pits so a 16v wont fit. |

| ok, so would a ser2 on a ser3 cause any probs or not be as good as it should? Anyone got any pics of the difference? |

| S2 front cross member is a different shape to the 16v S3. |

| Thanks Zenith, could you elaborate a little, by sway bay do you mean anti roll bar? I swapped my front cross member and everything from my 8v to my 16v due to bushes and was curious. |

Hi,
Yes the front sway bar will be specific to the 16V because the cylinder heads are getting in the way.

| Is there any difference between a ser 2 1.7 1988 complete front cross member and all arms, compaired to a ser3 1.7 16v 2003? |
