Can't help much I'm afraid, I've never found the pedals to be a problem in my 33 and I drive it fairly often in size 12 steel toed boots. |

Finally I told him to tack weld a washer on the rod end (old oilfield trick). He was horrified, but did it. Took 5 minutes.

I've not road tested it yet, but this afternoon I've had the linkage bar off and drilled it to take a split pin. Wasn't too difficult to do apart from snapping the first drill in the hole ... |

The speedo in my 33 wasn't working when I got it, so I tried a speedo from a known working set of clocks - no improvement. So I've now swapped the gearbox sender as well - still no improvement.

To answer the original question, Tcut followed by a polish or wax. If it is really bad then it might be worth finding a bodyshop that will buff it up instead of the Tcut.
