Regarding the head bolts:
- 300mm or 400mm is the lenght of the arm of the torque wrench
- make sure you tight the bolts in the correct order:
looking at the head you start with top centre ... |

I think he means the thing that counts the total number of kms, not the speedo. My works fine, but if would break I'd just get an other dashboard from the scrapyard, if I couldn't fix it myself.

I suppose they arent 100% similar, as the fuel-level indicator in the series 3 doesn't move during braking and acceleration...

Hi,
I think that a dirty throttle body would manifest itself more on the acceleration rather than on the decelaration. In your case it could be the lambda sensor.
