Think the trick to change gear is blip the throttle and change down as the revs fall. Bit of practise gets the gears changing without the crunch. Sort of matching the engine speed to the gear. |

Don't think the tax and mot matter for a transfer.
Just the log books.
You need to get a transfer form from the local DVLA office.
The fee is about £80 |

Have a look at the stick from underneath.
Theres a rod from the stick to the gear box selector
Perhaps the washer and clip have come off.

Find the Old Alfa Sud/sprint manual the clutch change routine is the same.
It's a large task for a first time attempt at clutch changing.
