Hi all,

Many thanks for the help. I sprayed some contact cleaner on the connection to idle speed control valve and the idle speed has been normal now for a couple of weeks.

I have a 16V with the same problem (dancing idle). There is no cat or lambda probe, so maybe the cause is something else?

Hi,

Many thanks for the help.

The boot stays up when opened, so hopefully the struts are OK. I guess this leaves the rubber seal and the cable grip as possible problems.
