Thought I'd update this thread as its been a while.
List of things to do to finish Steevee Romeo
Fit front race shocks and race springs
Fit 1.5 sud gearbox
Fit K&N aif filters
Get Lightened flywheel
Get bucket seats and harnesses
Get oil cooler
Get roll cage
The race shocks I have have been filed to increase camber and are a bit bent up from race use. I would really love to use my camber adjusting sleeves I had made, which means butchering my standard shocks to accept the Koni inserts Anyong got a set of straight ser 3 shocks they don’t want, that I can hollow out to accept the Koni inserts and have machined for camber sleeves?
I will fit the gearbox at the same time as the flywheel.
I need to find out if P4P can remove 3kg from a standard 16v flywheel, if they can, it will save buying one fromTTV
Filters are universal blank ones and need to have 40mm holes drilled in them and mounts made.
Deciding on what seats to get, comfort/lightness, bit tricky, any suggestions?
Can anyone suggest what make and size of oil cooler to get _________________ x2 33 16v

Well... I was going to do it but the ramp wasn't free early enough for me to do it in time before driving to work, so someone else did it.
I know I know, I am capable, just ran out of time.
So might get to do it when I change the flywheel. _________________ x2 33 16v

Your build already covers many of the essentials for a track-focused road car, especially with the oil management upgrades, suspension improvements, and brake enhancements. One area that is often overlooked is cooling efficiency during extended track sessions. Even with an oil cooler installed, keeping an eye on coolant temperatures and ensuring adequate airflow can make a big difference to long-term reliability. Another worthwhile consideration is corner-weighting and a proper alignment setup once all the modifications are complete, as this can dramatically improve handling and tire wear.
The wheel setup of 7J ET31 with 195/50R15 Toyo R888s shouldn't place excessive stress on the wheel bearings for occasional track use, though regular inspections are always a good idea. The planned bucket seats and roll cage will also provide a significant improvement in driver confidence and safety when pushing harder on track days.
Building a fast road and track car is all about finding the right balance between performance and usability. Much like tuning a car for maximum enjoyment, enthusiasts often enjoy exploring other forms of entertainment in their downtime, and platforms such as https://billionaire-spin.ca offer a variety of promotional opportunities. Overall, your setup looks well thought out, with braking, oil control, and driver support likely to deliver some of the biggest gains on track. _________________ i like cars, camping, gaming |

Hi Eugene,
My last post was 12 years ago, the car has been off the road for a few years with a broken cambelt and needs restoring due to rust. _________________ x2 33 16v
